Toby installed some extra power and junctions outside, plus installed speaker cable and a new plug socket. All very neat, tidy and professionally installed.

We had no power in the house and no matter what we tried we couldn’t get the main switch to come on to get the power. Even though it was a Sunday evening Toby came out, identified the problem and sorted it. All without waking up our children and in time for me to be able to watch the live basketball. Toby fitted new spot lights (which connected to an App) at the front of our property, he spent time to set up the App on my phone and sourced a new device when the original wouldn't work. He fitted a new sensor light on our driveway, which he has set to come on at night time and to stay on for a set period of time. He also fitted a new light on our patio, which he connected to new light switches in our garage as we wanted our switches in a more convenient location. We wanted to upgrade a number of existing halogen downlights to low voltage LED throughout the house, including bathrooms; swap out 3 existing ceiling fittings for 2 chandeliers and a flush fitting; replace a dimmer with a switch plate; reinstate and upgrade 3 external security lights, and have an inspection of the condition of the electrics in our barn, with recommendations for upgrading. Toby was responsive from my initial enquiry to the completion of the job. He was quick to get us scheduled into his diary and the wait time was reasonable due to the size of the job. He consulted me throughout the time he undertook the work, and explained his recommendations for tackling aspects of the job on our 1920s build home; In my view, Toby's previous experience as an electrical contractor in London shines through as an efficient, no mess, no fuss professional approach and, in my opinion, this adds value to the service he offers. Our 1960s house needed a complete rewire so we had several electricians in to quote. Toby stood out because he was so much more open to our ideas, gave great advice and came in at a reasonable price.
