I have used Kavanagh’s Catering on a number of occasions and also attended events that Emma has catered. The food is always superb, from a bbq with a delicious selection of meat, vegetables and salads, a sit down meal with the most amazing lasagna and chocolate brownies, a roasted Turkey with all the accompaniments for a Christmas buffet and a wedding with salmon en croute and sides. All of which were wonderful. She caters for all dietary requirements and the whole experience is fuss free and calm. I would highly recommend.

Emma recently catered for my dad's funeral. The buffet was for 40 people and the food looked amazing and was delicious Emma was completely obliging to any changes we wanted to make. She stayed with us for the afternoon and served teas and coffees. Very friendly. Thanks Emma. You made our afternoon completely stress free so we were able to celebrate my dad knowing everyone was being well looked after. Highly recommended.

Not the first time I have used Kavanagh’s as their food is second to none, this time it was for canopies for my couples wedding and Emma and her team did not disappoint! Communication was brilliant from start to finish, punctual and no mess left behind. I would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Emma!

Emma at Kavanaghs recently catered my daughter Christening for 50 people. She suggested a menu for us to our budget, was easy to talk to and replied quickly to emails. On the event day Emma was on time, calm and organised and set up our afternoon tea table lovely. She kept the cling on the food until the last moment so the sandwiches stayed fresh. It was a warm day but the sandwiches were still nicely chilled upon servicing. The cupcakes were light and fluffy and decorated beautifully. We also had mini filled sweet and savoury scones that were so popular I didn’t get to try one. Emma assisted with pouring our cold drinks, served tea and coffee all afternoon and collected finished items. Totally my fault but I should have asked for tea and coffee to be available after the Christening cake was cut, we left this towards the end of our afternoon when Emma had finished serving hot drinks. There were guests wanting a drink with there cake and we ended up packing cake slices up for people to go home with. I should have organised this with Emma or cut the cut earlier but never mind. I am very happy with the service and catering provided and I thoroughly recommend Kavanaghs Catering and would use them again.

From the moment I first made contact with Emma she was professional and helpful. Her web site is excellent at describing her services and she responded quickly to my initial contact. She was not at all phased by the uncertainty of the situation ( due to constantly changing regulations on numbers!!) and was adaptable and helpful in agreeing the menu for our fork buffet for 40 people. The food was delicious and everyone was commenting on the quality and taste. Thank you Emma for helping to make our Golden Wedding Anniversary a special day. I’d been to a party where Kavanagh’s Catering had provided the food so I knew I would have amazing food when I hired them for my 50th birthday celebration at home. Emma was great at helping me choose the right menu for the occasion and it was absolutely delicious. I found Emma so accommodating and calm, she was at ease working in my tiny kitchen despite the group of party goers around her! I have no hesitation in recommending Kavanagh’s Catering to anyone who wants good value, fresh delicious food!

Emma and her team did a wonderful job of the catering for our sons wedding. From first contact through to completion she and her team were thoroughly profession. Every guest went out of their way to say how good the food was. Timings were perfect to make a perfect day. We can highly recommend Emma and her team.

What a wonderful service and food Emma provided for an 80th birthday. The finger buffet was excellent covering all tastes and fancy. The home made sausage rolls were the best ever and the coronation chicken wraps were amazing. Thank you Emma for helping to make this such a special day. We will definitely recommend you to all and will use you again for our celebrations.

Emma was extremely professional when she catered for our Fathers funeral in October in our home near Harwich. The food was delicious, the tea and coffee flowed and Emma helped prepare everything whilst we were at the funeral. When we arrived after the service everything was ready and Emma was there with a warm welcome for our guests. The lemon drizzle cake was wonderful and lots of people asked for Emma’s contact details.
